At the summit, Vietnam, led by Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng, focused on fostering dialogue and cooperation, advocating for peaceful dispute resolution and adherence to international law. The Vietnamese delegation proposed expanding collaboration in key sectors such as energy, trade, transport connectivity, agriculture, and digital transformation. This summit resulted in the adoption of new frameworks set to strengthen ASEAN–Russia cooperation through 2030, with energy poised as a major component of this partnership.
